Repeat anglers Dan and little Dan came fishing aboard the Lady Pamela II. Dad wanted some good table fare and little Dan wanted consistent action. Day one was awesome. The reef was solid with Kings and Bonitos. We ran out to 450 ft of blue water and prayed to the fish god for a Wahoo. Within 10 minutes of trolling, a big Summertime Sailfish came up and ate. The pelagic was hooked for about 2 minutes before it pulled the hook. Little Dan wanted to go hunt for his Game Shark so I rigged up a few big baits and we trolled 10 miles north. I dropped the baits down and we all sat their patiently and waited for the bite. Finally! We got the bite little Dan wanted. The rod bent over and the reel started screamin’. Captain Paul set the hook as little Dan got situated in the chair. Little Dan got to fight a Nurse Shark bigger than him. Not only was it bigger than him, it was bigger than his sisters’ Sandbar Shark and that made his day.

Day two wasn’t as exciting. We went offshore in search of a Wahoo for Dad but never came across one, not even a bite. We landed 6 small Cuda’s and that was it.
