Fort Lauderdale Drift Fishing & Saturday Night Swordfishing aboard the Lady Pamela III

Drift Fishing aboard the Lady Pamela III
January 24th-31st
This is an exciting time of year to be fishing aboard the Lady Pamela III. The boat has been busy and fishing has been great. This last week we’ve seen quite a variety of different species come through our area. The drift fishing has been producing kings, various snappers, tunas, mahi mahi, and a couple acrobatic sailfish. The Shipwreck fishing has been on fire with large amberjacks, almaco jacks, grouper, and mutton snapper consistently coming over the rail of the Lady Pamela III. Last week’s Saturday night swordfish adventure consisted of six New Yorkers and a cooler full of beer. We got our first bite at 9:15 PM, and the healthy hundred pounder was lying on the deck by 10:00 PM.  We got a total of four more bites that night, releasing a six foot hammerhead as well as a short swordfish. We ended our Saturday Night time Swordfish trip with an 80 pounder on the deck to accompany our 100 lb Broadbill Swordfish.
