Mullet Run

The Fall Mullet Run Is Starting!

August 26, 2016

My favorite time of the year is just getting started, The Mullet Run!  For those not familiar, every fall we get a massive migration of mullet (baitfish) that skirt our beaches as they head south. They school up in thick pods to elude attacks using safety in numbers.  On their backs are some of the […]

Wahoo Fishing Is Getting Good, Fall Is Coming.

August 24, 2016

The last few weeks have been HOT and I mean upper 90 degrees.  This means the fishing has been best on the morning and evening trips.  With the recent full moon, wahoo have been our target and it has been really good.  High speed trolling as well as early morning live baiting has been working […]

Sharks, Swordfish, Tarpoon , Kingfish & More Off Fort Lauderdale

October 13, 2015

October 13, 2015   The first part of this month is famous for Octoberfest in Germany, but here in Fort Lauderdale I am officially renaming it Octoberfish, because the fishing has been so good. The king mackerel fishing on the troll is the best I’ve seen in probably 10 years. Yesterday morning the Lady Pamela […]

Tarpon Fishing

September 24, 2015

September 14, 2015   Tonight we had a nice weeknight tarpon fishing trip on the Lady Pamela II. We started the night off with a big jack and a barracuda within the first half-hour of the fishing trip. About two hours into the trip we finally hooked up a six footer tarpon that easily topped […]

The Mullet Run Is Starting! Tarpon, Tarpon, Tarpon

August 24, 2015

We live and fish in one of the greatest destinations in the world.  We are passionate about every fishing trip we do, but there is something special about to begin, The Fall Mullet Run.  Each year millions of mullet (bait fish) migrate south with predators on their back.  Monster tarpon, blacktip and spinner sharks, snook, […]

Tarpon Fishing Miami Is On Fire!

May 5, 2015

We are so lucky to have some of the most amazing tarpon fishing right here in our back yard. The tarpon have been sitting at bridges and off the beaches gorging on the huge amounts of shrimp and crabs flushing out of the bay. The outgoing tides have been best and we have been getting […]

TESTIMONIALS

What An Adventure!

I never leave reviews, but we had such a good time, I wanted to share with others. Captain David and his guys are top notch, you can tell as soon as you pull up that you have booked a great trip. We went out with them in April 2015 and we were told this was one of the best months for fishing off South Florida. The captain decided to fly kites (amazing!) to dangle baits so that the fish can’t see the hooks. I have never seen this, but it was amazing to see them do it. Within a few minutes we had a first sailfish on and then another hit. A double header! We landed both fish and the day went on just like that. We were watching the baits dangle on the surface all day.  Other boats in the area were “trolling” and weren’t catching any. David said it was because the water was so clear that it was important to kite fish.  I highly recommend booking them.
