Sweet SummerTime Fishing

August 9, 2017

The south Florida summer dolphin are here, but catching them has been hit-or-miss for Lady Pamela sportfishing. When we find them though the catches have been really good. Sharks continue to thrill, right in line with Shark Week on TV. We have caught some lemons and a few smaller hammerheads, but also some bull sharks. […]

Sharks , Tuna , Kingfish , Mahi Mahi

March 25, 2016

March 21, 2016   The Fort Lauderdale sportfishing was slow the past several days without one bite on two all day trips in a row. We got through the doldrums though by working the offshore wrecks. Lady Pamela II caught some big amberjacks, a king mackerel, and a couple of cobia. It was a great […]

Girls Florida FIshing

January 1, 2016

December 29, 2015 The deep-sea fishing off Fort Lauderdale was once again spectacular yesterday. The Lady Pamela II caught some silky sharks, and all of our boats that were kite fishing with live goggleyes had shots at sailfish. One of the Lady Pamela boats got two sailfish and some big wahoos. There was also a […]

Fort Lauderdale Mahi Mahi Fishing

July 15, 2015

July 14, 2015 There was mahi-mahi mayhem offshore Ft. Lauderdale today as the Lady Pamela sportfishing boats were busy reeling in everything from 25 lb gaffers to little schoolies. Captain JJ ventured offshore into about 800 feet of water where big rafts of Sargassum were teeming with baitfish and mahi. The ocean was calm and […]

Girl’s Day Fishing Trip

The fishing continues to be very good off Fort Lauderdale and Miami.  We are finding great amounts of kingfish, tuna, and bonita in close as well as dolphin offshore. Yesterday we had a great trip on a “girls day out” fishing expedition. We caught several kingfish and everyone had a blast. The weather was beautiful […]

TESTIMONIALS

Awesome Tarpon Trip!

We booked Captain David to take us fishing inshore since my wife gets really seasick. He mentioned that the tide was really good on a particular date so we took it. My son caught his first tarpon about 50lbs along with a barracuda and we released a snook. The inshore waters of Fort Lauderdale are very scenic and Captain David showed us some amazing celebrities homes including Wayne Huizenga where we caught a tarpon right behind his house.  Very cool stuff.  David took measurements of the tarpon and my son now how it hanging in his room. The silver king!
