Fort Lauderdale Fishing in the New Fighting Chair

January 23rd, 2010
Greg, Pam, James and Marty joined Captain Paul and I aboard the Lady Pamela II for a shared charter adventure. The Lady Pamela II started off the New Year with a new fighting chair that suspends you over the water while fighting a fish; it’s very exciting for both the angler and the mate and Marty couldn’t wait to get in. Trolling the reef resulted in a few King Mackerel and Bonito fish. We headed north and the fish started to show. There was a taker on a 3lb live Bonito bait on the wreck. A 30 lb Amberjack on an 80 lb rod is a guaranteed battle; nice fish Marty! Round two produced another nice bite from an Almaco Jack. James’ dream was to land a Billfish while fishing in Fort Lauderdale and fighting a Sailfish over the water made his day. Come fish the chair!
