Today we were aboard the Lady Pamela II for an all day charter. These charters are a lot of fun because we have time to fish a variety of areas. We started the day with a little trolling off of Fort Lauderdale, kicking the fishing day off nicely with three mahi-mahi. We then did a few deep drops over a wreck bringing in a half dozen nice vermilion snappers. In the afternoon we put up the kites to try and drum up a sailfish but we didn’t get any bites. However, a couple of king mackerels and a bonito found our baits to their liking and kept our anglers busy on the rods.
