Daytime Swordfishing Fort Lauderdale

January 28, 2015

January 23, 2015   Today Steve and Darren ran the Lady Pamela II well offshore for all day swordfish trip. It is always a hit-or-miss proposition when targeting daytime swords, and after two drops in 1800 feet of water with no bites, it looked like it was going to be a miss day. Fortunately, the […]

Fishing Tournament Miami

January 22, 2015

January 18, 2015   This past weekend Lady Pamela II sportfishing fished the two-day Sailfish 400 tournament out f Miami. It was tough fishing for the 43 boats in the tournament, as a south-flowing current really shut down the sailfish bite. The Lady Pamela II team went two for three on sailfish releases on the […]

Fort Lauderdale Fishing Charters

January 7, 2015

January 3, 2015   The fishing on the Lady Pamela II has been pretty good over the last few last few days despite some somewhat bumpy seas. We’ve been consistently catching kingfish and a lot of blackfin tuna along the third reef, and on out to about 180 feet. Scott got a big bull shark […]

TESTIMONIALS

What An Adventure!

I never leave reviews, but we had such a good time, I wanted to share with others. Captain David and his guys are top notch, you can tell as soon as you pull up that you have booked a great trip. We went out with them in April 2015 and we were told this was one of the best months for fishing off South Florida. The captain decided to fly kites (amazing!) to dangle baits so that the fish can’t see the hooks. I have never seen this, but it was amazing to see them do it. Within a few minutes we had a first sailfish on and then another hit. A double header! We landed both fish and the day went on just like that. We were watching the baits dangle on the surface all day.  Other boats in the area were “trolling” and weren’t catching any. David said it was because the water was so clear that it was important to kite fish.  I highly recommend booking them.
