July 31, 2013

July 27, 2013 Captain Darin and Chris had some good fishing aboard the Lady Pamela II under beautiful sunny skies off Ft. Lauderdale. Robert from North Carolina had an exciting offshore experience, reeling in a nice wahoo, some kingfish, and even a couple of blackfin tunas. The Saturday night anchor trip on the Lady Pamela […]

Fort Lauderdale Offshore Fishing

July 28, 2013

July 25, 2013 Sportfishing on the Lady Pamela II was a mixed bag today with fish caught both on the troll and on the bottom. The kingfish and a few small blackfin tunas found our seawitch feathers irresistible as we trolled along the reef edge in 100 feet of water. We then re-rigged for bottomfishing […]

July 15, 2013 The past few days the Lady Pamela II fleet has been bottom fishing on the deep reefs and shipwrecks off Ft. Lauderdale. The grouper fishing has been particularly good, with lots of Warsaw and goliath groupers bending the rods. We are also seeing a few blacks, gags and snowy groupers in the […]

July 7, 2013 It was international day aboard the Lady Pamela II as Justin and I took Santiago from Mexico City out fishing with some friends from Colombia. July 4, 2013 Independence Day was cool and the seas were a little rough, but good fishing was to be had both on the kite and on the troll. The Lady Pamela II caught a bunch of blackfin tunas, including a 30 lb monster. Surprisingly, a few sailfish even showed up to take baits off […]

July 3, 2013 There were more scattered showers today but anglers on both the Lady Pamela II and Lady Pamela IV were kept busy in the cockpit. Plenty of bonitos and kingfish were around, as well as a few blackfin tunas. The LP II also hooked up a greater hammerhead. The Lady Pamela III driftboat, […]

Fishing ft lauderdale

July 5, 2013

July 2, 2013 Fort Lauderdale’s famous sunny weather was not so sunny this week as a tropical wave moved through the area. The less than ideal weather didn’t dampen the fishing though as the Lady Pamela II team has had some great action the past couple of days. Today the LP II was out in […]

Monster Mako Shark

July 3, 2013

June 26, 2013 This afternoon the Lady Pamela III had a nighttime tarpon fishing trip scheduled, but before it got dark the crew wanted to try some sharkfishing. A quick run straight offshore put the boat in 350 feet of water, and in 20 minutes they had hooked up a 5 foot sandbar shark. This […]

June Fishing Fort Lauderdale

July 3, 2013

June 24, 2013 The Lady Pamela II sportfishing boat was out today with Captain David at the helm. It looked like the day was off to a good start with a sailfish hookup. Our angler was in the fighting chair ready for action when the fish threw the hook. It was a tough loss but […]

What An Adventure!

I never leave reviews, but we had such a good time, I wanted to share with others. Captain David and his guys are top notch, you can tell as soon as you pull up that you have booked a great trip. We went out with them in April 2015 and we were told this was one of the best months for fishing off South Florida. The captain decided to fly kites (amazing!) to dangle baits so that the fish can’t see the hooks. I have never seen this, but it was amazing to see them do it. Within a few minutes we had a first sailfish on and then another hit. A double header! We landed both fish and the day went on just like that. We were watching the baits dangle on the surface all day.  Other boats in the area were “trolling” and weren’t catching any. David said it was because the water was so clear that it was important to kite fish.  I highly recommend booking them.
