The Atlantic Bonito, often confused with the Little Tunny, is blue along the upper back with 7 or more darker oblique stripes. Bonito are more commonly caught on the Atlantic Coast and generally form large schools with the Mackerel family. When Bonito come through in herds, they will most likely inhale every bait available. You haven't seen excitement until you have 20 bombers on at one time. And believe me, there are times when you can't get away from these fierce fighters.
